She was found hanged by her brother in the Kebayoran Lama area on April 14, 2024. Fitri committed sucide after having an argument with her lover. Before ending her life, Fitri also drank floor cleaning fluid. The was conveyed by the Head of the criminical investigation Unit. According to Suwarno, the victim previously had no intention of hanging herself. However, because drinking the floor cleaner did not kill her, the victim resorted to other means to end her life. Initially there was a fight at her girlfriend's house. There are no elements of violience, that have been identified by the Police. There are no indications of abuse or anything. Suwarno also said that the victim has attempted suicide four times. Suwarno said that his family knew of Meli as a temperamental figure. He said, if something doesn't go according to her wishes, Fitri, often gets emotional. She would get angry.. She's been angry for the past few days according to her girlfriend.
