THE LAS VEGAS FILM FESTIVAL RETURNS TO SIN CITY JULY 18 – 21, 2013

The 6th Annual Las Vegas Film Festival (LVFF) returns July 18 – 21 to the LVH - Las Vegas Hotel presenting the freshest, new talent in filmmaking. Celebrating cinema from across the globe, LVFF highlights the creativity and perseverance it takes to get more than 60 original films, shorts and documentaries shown during the four-day festival. Filmmakers will get the chance to be inspired by new voices in the film industry, the opportunity to network, receive feedback and see their film on the big screen. Fans have the opportunity to mix and mingle with up and coming talent while enjoying hours of unique films. Information and rules for submitting films and screenplays is available atwww.lvfilmfest.com and deadline for submissions is April 15, 2013.

 

In 2012, LVFF screened the critically lauded documentary “Marley” for the only viewing in Las Vegas. Louis Gossett Jr. and Lea Thompson were given the Indie Icon Award with Michael Madsen having received the award in 2011. Other notable LVFF premieres include: “Amazonia” by Emmy Award winning director Sam Chen, “The Secret Friend” and “The Trouble With The Truth.” 

 

In addition to film screenings, LVFF hosts multiple premiere parties, cocktail mixers, dinners, red carpets, VIP parties, interactive and specialty panels, a screenplay competition and a closing night award reception over the course of the four-day event.

 

Tickets for individual screenings start at $10. An all-day film pass, which includes admission to all films in a single day plus admittance to all VIP parties and special events, is $75. The High Roller Pass including priority admittance to all films, short film blocks, panels, seminars, parties, special events and award ceremonies during the festival (Piero’s Dinner not included) is $200.
