Recording artist Anu~Sun releases NEW album, 

“The Adventures of Mr. Las Vegas” 

*Experience The Vegas Lights Through The Eyes of a Native*

New York, NY —  “The Adventures of Mr. Las Vegas”, the highly anticipated album from artist/producer Anu~Sun is scheduled for release on October 19th, 2010. The project will be available online at Itunes, www.cdbaby.com (both physical and digital purchases available) and  www.anusun.bandcamp.com . The album features 15 original tracks including the AWESOME title track “Mr. Las Vegas”(feat. Omar Lyefook, Robert Glasper & Chris “Daddy” Dave) and “Cum&GetIT” (an ode to the Native Tongues movement). Additional features on the project  include DoItAll Dupré (from rap group “The Lords of The Underground”) and jazz trumpeter Leron Thomas. When asked to discribe the project, Anu say’s “It’s the genre blurring, maturation Hip Hop. It’s the step child of 80’s nuwave, P-funk and jazz. It’s an honest reflection of the life of a Vegas native.”

Loyal fans of Anu~Sun have supported the artist since the 2004 release of his debut cd “Bohemian Chocolate”. The project featured the hit video “Soul Brotha” that ranked among among the “Top 100 videos of 2004” on the B.E.T.J (now Centric) network. Now making his home in Brooklyn, New York the Las Vegas native captivates audiences regularly in some of New York City’s most notable underground venues. To date Anu has opened for such notable artist as Dwele, Bilal, Talib Kweli, and Amel Larrieux.

To celebrate his new release “The Adventures of Mr. Las Vegas”, Anu~Sun will be performing in SOB’s (www.SOBs.com) October edition of “Sol Village” (a monthly music showcase). The event will takes place in New York City on Wednesday, October 20, 2010, @ 9pm.
