"Robert Brooks, 43, of Rochester, an inmate at Marcy Correctional Facility, died Dec. 10, one day after being beaten by officers at the medium-security state prison. New York Attorney General Letitia James released body-worn camera video of the incident Dec. 27. ?This senseless killing is outrageous and horrifying,? New York Governor Kathy Hochul declared.
