Via Mysterious 7 on Youtube | Martell DeRouen, a 34-year-old aspiring rapper from San Antonio, Texas, tragically lost his life in January 2021 in a shocking act of violence. Known in the music industry as Kardone, Martell was reportedly a cousin of global superstar Beyonc?, though he rarely spoke about their connection, preferring to build his career on his own merit. His life was cut short when he was found fatally shot in his apartment, sending shockwaves through his community and the entertainment world. The investigation led to the arrest of 21-year-old Sasha Skare, who was also pursuing a music career. Skare and Martell were reportedly in a relationship, and their connection took a dark turn that ended in tragedy. Authorities alleged that an altercation between the two resulted in Skare shooting Martell. After her arrest, Skare was convicted of his murder and, in 2023, was sentenced to 55 years in prison. Martell was remembered by his friends and fans as a kind-hearted and talented individual who had big dreams in the music industry.
