10th Annual Throwback Sizzling Jam Convert Memorial Day Weekend 

GEMs (Greater Education Milestones) and REM (Reaching Educational Milestones) presents the 10th annual Throwback Sizzling Jam Concert at The Amp inside Craig Ranch Park Memorial Day Weekend. The benefit prides itself on helping GEMs students receive educational scholarships to attend private high schools. The program serves exceptionally smart students who live in low income or underserved areas of the community. GEMs work with students and families starting in the 7th grade to help them find the perfect private high school; teaching them the A-Zs about finding the perfect fit. Students are followed to and through college to ensure academic success.  

 

Friday, May 26 the Throwback Sizzling Jam features the “Las Vegas Funk Jamm” hosted by DJ Thump of 105.7 fm. Funk acts include Midnight Star, Club Nouveau, Evelyn “Champagne” King, Heat Wave, Dazz Band, and Cherrelle. Doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 8pm.  

 

Saturday May 27 the Throwback Sizzling Jam features “U, Me and R&B Fest” featuring Tyrese, Adina Howard, Hi-Five, Nivea, and Ruff Endz. Doors open at 5pm and the show starts at 8pm.  

 

Sunday May 28 the Throwback Sizzling Jam features “R&B and Hip Hop 90s Edition” hosted by Al B. Sure. One of the best throwback line-ups this summer include 112, Next, DJ Quik, Lyfe Jennings, Suga Free, Christopher Williams, 2nd II None, and special guest Bobbi Storm.  

 

Select tickets are limited at $49. Regular priced tickets start at $75 and go up to $125. There is no outside food, drinks, large bags, tents or umbrellas allowed, however you are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and small clear purses.
