Sydney Leathers had unprotected sex in her film “Weiner & Me” with Xander Corvus, an adult-film star — and three weeks ago, Corvus filmed a sex scene with a female porn actress who recently tested positive for HIV.

In Aug. 2013 released statement....

“I do not have HIV and have not been exposed to HIV regardless of the reports out there saying otherwise,” Leathers said. “I was not contacted by the Free Speech Coalition to re test, I reached out to them to see if I should re test and was told I did not need to. I took all the necessary precautions before and after my scene for Vivid and acted responsibly and therefore was able to protect myself from exposure to anything. As an added precaution I retested 2 days after my shoot and again yesterday and all tests were negative.”  

But the apparently infected actress, Cameron Bay, told adult industry website AVN that her most recent XXX shoot was July 31 and her shocking test result — which has sparked the current moratorium on professional porn productions.  In a statement to Gawker, Leathers said she and Corvus both were tested and deemed “healthy” before they filmed their Vivid Entertainment video together.

She said an additional test in New York after the shoot also came back negative. She took her third test, this time a home test she bought at CVS, on Thursday.  Bay told AVN Wednesday that she was undergoing follow-up testing to check whether her result was a false positive.

“When I got the call, I was obviously extremely distraught and in disbelief because there’s no way that it’s possible in my eyes,” Bay told AVN

Cameron Bay has admitted to being the porn star who contracted HIV, sparking panic in the industry and shutting down production. 

“I don’t sleep around, I don’t do anything crazy and I keep track of the people that I’ve worked with.”

 

Sept. 2013 released statement...

‘As difficult as this news is for me,’ Bay said in a statement, ‘I am hopeful that no other performers have been affected. I plan on doing everything possible to assist the medical professionals and my fellow performers.’

 

'My long-term plan is to take care of myself and my health,' she said.  Recently retired porn performer described some of the struggles Bay will likely face.  'There's no health insurance, there's no union; there really isn't a safety net,' Aurora Snow told the LA Times. 'I feel really bad for her. It's got to be really tough to get that kind of news.'  Cameron revealed she shot her most recent sex scene with Xander Corvus, the man who played Anthony Weiner alongside the New York mayoral candidate's latest online mistress Sydney Leathers.  Sydney made her porn debut Weiner And Me - sparking fears she may have been exposed to the virus.

Corvus seemed to touch on the dangers of sexually transmitted diseases in a Twitter post.

“If you’re in the industry and you irresponsibly f--- unprotected outside the industry I want you drawn & quartered then burned alive,” he tweeted Aug. 12.

Leathers was an unknown 23-year-old from small-town Indiana when she stepped forward four weeks ago to reveal she had a steamy online relationship with Weiner last summer — a year after the disgraced Democrat resigned from Congress for engaging in similar behavior.

 

Weiner — who was once on top of the polls — acknowledged the lusty liaison with Leathers and said such behavior was now behind him.  But the revelations have sent his mayoral campaign into free fall.

Leathers, meanwhile, capitalized on the disclosures with a clothing endorsement deal, an appearance on Howard Stern’s radio show and a paid hosting gig at a Manhattan strip club.

The newly-famous Leathers, who was back in New York this week after filming the skin flick in “recent days,” told the Daily News on Tuesday that she had no regrets.

 

“After I did the Vivid photo shoot a couple weeks ago, people already thought I made a porno, so it was like, ‘Eh, they think I did, I might as well,’” she explained.

 

 

What about those NEGATIVE RESULTS...?  Well according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, negative test results within the first three months of exposure to HIV could be false.  It went public in July that Sydney and Anthony had been carrying on a relationship that consisted of phone sex up to seven times a day!

 

Sydney brought the mayoral candidate’s “Carlos Danger” alter ego — as well as images of the politician’s private parts — to light in July, and Anthony then confessed to sharing steamy online messages with at least three women after he resigned from Congress in disgrace.

A porn star has announced that he has contracted HIV, making him the second such adult film actor to contract the disease in less than two weeks.  The actor, who goes by his stage name of Rod Daily, announced over Twitter that he has been diagnosed with the virus that causes AIDS.  'Drumroll please!! I'm 32 years old and I'm HIV positive. Acute HIV, which means I recently was infected. For that I am blessed,' Daily wrote on Twitter.

Joshua Rodgers, 32, who works in gay porn under the stage name Rod Daily, said his doctors determined that he had been infected recently.  "I know it happened last month," he said in an interview Tuesday with the Daily News. "I know I don't have a crazy lifestyle."   Rodgers has worked exclusively in gay porn since 2010 on sets that require condoms.  He also said he has been dating Bay for more than a year but did not want to draw conclusions on how he was infected.  Rodgers said in the interview that he was tested at a private clinic in Arizona.

 

'I'm blessed for the fact that I caught it so early that I can blast that s*** with meds.

 

'With the tests I have done the doctors have  figured out that I was infected within the last month...My antibodies just  showed up on a test this week which is scary because they didn't a week ago,' he  said in two other tweets.

 

A trade group representing producers of pornographic movies in Los Angeles called on any of Daily's sexual partners to be tested for the virus.  However, the group, the Free Speech Coalition, stepped short of calling for a moratorium on adult film productions.
 
 

The group said it could not yet confirm whether Daily truly had contracted the human immunodeficiency virus, or HIV, but it warned his partners to be tested.  The Free Speech Coalition were the ones to confirm on August 22 that the actress who goes by the name of Cameron Bay was also infected with HIV.

 

Daily has been linked romantically to Bay on the adult film industry website XBiz.com.  California Assemblyman Isadore Hall, who has been trying for months to get a bill passed in the state Assembly mandating the use of condoms in sex scenes, said Daily's reported infection shows the need for such a regulation.

 

'This is the second individual within a week and a half to contract HIV in the industry,' said Hall, a Democrat.  'There will probably be more.'

 

The multibillion-dollar adult film industry is centered in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles.  The industry has vigorously opposed efforts to require condom use on set, protesting against a 2012 voter-approved measure requiring condoms to be used in Los Angeles County and successfully arguing against an earlier effort for such regulation at the state level that would be specifically geared to film productions.  The Free Speech Coalition said in an email to Reuters that Daily acted in gay and transsexual sex movies in which condoms were used. 

 

After Bay tested positive, production was shut down for about a week.  But as of early evening on Tuesday, no order to cease shooting sex scenes had been issued.  In a series of Twitter postings, Daily cited this brief moratorium as an example of how the industry is unwilling to change- to the detriment of its actors.

 

'That does not change anything though. A week later people are back at it shooting without condoms.  I have also learned that people can be so well medicated that they test negative. Scary, the test everyone relies on.  Magic Johnson has HIV, and can infect other people but his test comes up negative. Is that so impossible for anyone else to do the same? NO.  Just sayin be careful because that test ain't shit without a condom strapped up with it.'

 

Daily appears to be taking a positive approach to the news, staying optimistic by saying: 'Had to pinch myself a few times no doubt. But the sun still shines on my face and it’s warm. Can't take my heart ever. I love life, blessed.'

 

 'I felt bad for the guy who had to read me my first test result. His face turned to stone, I wanted to give him a hug and say it will be ok.'

 

Bay's scare resonated outside of the porn industry, as it was revealed that she had recently had sex with the male performer who later appeared in a video starring Sydney Leathers, disgraced congressman Anthony Weiner's sexting partner.

TMZ broke the story ... porn star Katie Summers has filed a  lawsuit against Buttman (real name John Stagliano) as well as  his company, Evil Angel Productions, claiming Stagliano never disclosed he was  HIV-positive before co-starring with her in sexual scenes.
Summers says  she performed alongside Stagliano in "Buttman's Stretch Class #4" back in 2007,  and the role involved sexual interaction.
But a rep for Evil Angel  Productions has posted Katie's scene from the movie online ... and it doesn't  show ANY penetration.

The scene features touching for sure ... but no genital-to-genital  contact.  As far as we know, you can't get HIV from what's depicted in the  flick. The rep says, "It's the equivalent of shaking hands."
In the  interest of full disclosure ... Evil Angel posted the entire scene on their  website. 
We contacted Katie's lawyer, Robert Starr, who admits his  client is NOT HIV-positive -- and while she didn't have sexual intercourse with  Stagliano, the lawyer still feels Stagliano should have disclosed his condition

So if Stagliano has been open about his condition for years...I SAY...who's really being negligent here???
