LVBNM Announces 2011 Gingerbread House Contestants

The 2011 Gingerbread House Contest is underway! Las Vegas youths will compete for cash prizes for their participating youth organizations.

 

All participating contestants (ages 5 to 12 years) will created, design and build their gingerbread house from all eatable items! And all entries will be judged in five categories: Overall appearance, Originality & Creativity, difficulty, Precision and Consistency of theme (the theme for the gingerbread house contest is: “Holiday Celebration”).

 

The following youth organizations will be participating;

Lied Memorial Boys & Girls Club
James Boys & Girls Club
MOSES - Girl Scout Troop #645
Grants 4 Grands
B.C. McCabe Boys & Girls Club
Andre Agassi Boys & Girls Club
Project Shero
Jo Mackey Magnet School

The 2011 Gingerbread House Contest is taking place at the LVBNM Holiday Celebration on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the Suncoast Hotel & Casino. The judging time will run from at 6 PM to 6:30 PM and all winners will be announced at 6:45 PM.
