Station Casinos’ November house entertainment

 

LAS VEGAS – November 3, 2011 – Station Casinos entertains locals with a number of new weekly acts and shows at several of its properties in addition to its trademark bands that the city has grown to love.

 

Guests can enjoy incredible entertainment across Station Casinos in November/ Highlights include: Smokey Joe’s Café at Green Valley Ranch on Sundays; Monday Night Football at Green Valley Ranch, Sunset Station, Boulder Station, Aliante Station and Fiesta Rancho; Radio Flyers at Palace Station on Thursdays; karaoke with DJ Tara King has moved from Cabo Lounge to Club Tequila on Thursdays at Fiesta Rancho; the Busker Kings at Sunset Station on Fridays and Saturdays; Strung Out Sessions on Saturdays at Sunset Station and Marty Allen and Karon Blackwell perform at Palace Station on Saturday, Nov. 12 and Sunday, Nov. 13.

o   Ovation– Rag Tag Entertainment presents “You’ll Be in My Heart: Music from Your Favorite Animate Films.” The show begins at 8 p.m. and tickets are $10. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Tuesday, Nov. 22:

o   Ovation– Rag Tag Entertainment presents “Big Time Variety Hour” at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 and guests under 21 must be accompanied by an adult.

Tuesday, Nov. 29:

o   Ovation– Rag Tag Entertainment presents “Music Can Be Murder: An Interactive Murder Mystery Experience.” The show begins at 8 p.m. and tickets are $15. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by an adult.

Every Wednesday:

  • Quinn’s Irish     Pub – Guests advance to different levels of difficulty as     they sing their hearts out at Karate Karaoke from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Guests     must be 21 years or older.
  • Hank’s Fine     Steaks & Martinis – Guitarist and singer Dave Ritz performs     Top 40 hits from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.  

Every Thursday:

  • Ovation – Enjoy     live music on a rotating schedule with a variety of genres including     jazz-inspired funk with the Lon Bronson All-Star Band on Nov. 10 and yacht     rock with Guilty Pleasures on Nov. 17. The show is dark on Nov. 24. Doors     open at 8 p.m. for all performances. Guests must be 21 years or older.
  • Quinn’s Irish     Pub – Darby O’Gill & The Little People take the     stage from 9 p.m. to midnight. Guests must be 21 years or older.

Friday, Nov. 25:

o   Ovation– Guests can enjoy the jazz-inspired funk with the Lon Bronson All-Star Band. Doors open at 8 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older.

Every Saturday:

  • Ovation - Steel     Panther performs with doors at 10 p.m. This ’80s glam metal parody     band demonstrates their spirit and love of everything rock ‘n’     roll with their colorful repartee, loud costumes and graphic body     language. Guests must be 21 years or older.

  • The Railhead – Latin     Night with Noche Nortena featuring El Moreno Carrillo Y Su Banda     Tierra Sagrada, delivering the best in regional Mexican music at     9:30 p.m. The music flows, leading up to the show and between sets with a     DJ spinning the best Latin tunes from 9 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. Cover is $5 for     women and $10 for men. Guests must be 21 years or older.

Every Monday:

  • The Railhead –Guests can enjoy La Nueva Live Mix. Doors open at 10 p.m. There is a $10     cover for men. Cover is $5 for women, after midnight. Guests must be 21     years or older.

Every Saturday:

  • The Railhead – Yellow     Brick Road (YBR) performs with doors at 10 p.m. This Las Vegas-based     classic rock tribute band takes on the entire classic rock/pop spectrum     with an emphasis on details and inflections. The show is dark on Nov. 19,     as Alter’d Ego will be performing. Guests must be 21 years or     older.

o   Louie Anderson Theater – Guests can enjoy The Bonkerz Comedy All-Stars, as they take the stage at 8:30 p.m. Bonkerz all-time favorite stand-up comedians take turns filling in while Louie Anderson is on the road. The troupe of hilarious headliners have been seen on television shows such as“The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and on Comedy Central. Tickets begin at $34.95 plus tax and applicable fees. Locals and Palace Station hotel guests receive a $15 discount. Guests must be 18 years or older.

Saturday, Nov. 12 and Sunday, Nov. 13:
  • Louie Anderson     Theater – Legendary comedian Marty Allen headlines while Louie     Anderson is on the road. Allen got his start in the comedy world performing     at nightclubs while going to college during the day. It became so     lucrative for him, that he eventually quit college to pursue comedy     fulltime. It was shortly thereafter that he became part of the popular     ‘50s comedy duo Allen and Rossi with fellow comedian Steve Rossi.     Together, the two toured the country, released several hit comedy albums,     performed more than 40 times on the “Ed Sullivan Show” and     starred in the comedic film “The Last of the Secret Agents.”     All shows begin at 4 p.m. Ticket prices begin at $49.95 plus tax and     applicable fees.
