The Las Vegas Aces and the Las Vegas Raiders are once again recognizing outstanding people who have been instrumental in the fight for equality in sports and beyond by hosting The IXs at Allegiant Stadium the evening of Monday, June 17.

 

This year, The IXs will honor Stefanie Graf with the Icon Award, Kristi Yamaguchi with the Game Changer Award, Lynette Woodard with the Legacy Award, Kris Engelstad with the Impact Award, Selena Williams with the Next Gen Award, and Dominique Dawes with the Glass Ceiling Award.

 

Olympic gold medalist and ESPN Major League Baseball broadcaster Jessica Mendoza is emceeing the event, which will also feature performances by Rachel Platten, Nicholas Petricca and Broadway in the Hood.

 

The evening begins with a red carpet walk and cocktail reception at 6:00 pm, followed by dinner and The IX Awards presentations. Media are invited to shoot the red carpet walk, and should arrive by 5:30 pm for set up. Among the night’s attendees will be members of the back-to-back WNBA Champion Aces, Las Vegas Raiders and Aces owner Mark Davis, Aces President Nikki Fargas, and Raiders President Sandra Douglass Morgan. Presenters will include Becky Hammon, Alysha Clark, Sydney Colson, Chelsea Gray, Kelsey Plum, Andre James, and Mark Davis.
