Florida officials have arrested a professional tennis player for attempting to have sex with a 13-year-old girl.
Pierre-Ludovic Duclos-Lasnier of Quebec, Canada, was arrested Thursday. The 27-year-old was training in Bradenton. An arrest report says a detective assumed the victim’s identity and chatted with Duclos-Lasnier on the victim’s cell phone.
The report by Manatee County officials says Duclos-Lasnier solicited the girl for sex and sent a photograph of his penis. He offered to meet the girl and was arrested at the meeting point.
He faces charges of using a computer to solicit a child to commit sex acts; two counts of transmission of harmful material to a minor; and attempted lewd and lascivious battery. He’s being held at the Manatee County Jail without bail. It’s unclear whether he has an attorney.

Landy P?rraga, former beauty queen and model, was murdered inside a cevicheria located in the La Cuadra shopping center, located in the El Guayac?n parish of Quevedo. P?rraga was having breakfast at the cevicheria when hitmen entered and shot him several times until he died. The model was standing with her partner, apparently about to leave the site, when two men entered.
